A Free NDIS Plan Review helps you understand what’s actually in your plan and whether it’s working for you. If you’re an autistic adult managing your own NDIS funding, or a family member helping someone navigate their plan, you’ve probably noticed something: NDIS plans can be confusing. The language is dense. The funding categories don’t always match what you actually need day-to-day. You might have money sitting unspent because you’re not sure what it covers, or you might be paying out of pocket for support that should be funded. A plan review isn’t about changing your plan with the NDIA — it’s about making sense of the one you have right now.

Here’s what a plan review actually involves. We sit down with you (or with you and your family, if that works better) and go through your plan line by line. We look at each funding bucket: daily personal activities, community participation, employment support, home modifications, whatever you’ve got allocated. We ask practical questions: Are you using this money; is it going to the right things? Are there gaps — things you need that aren’t funded? Are there blindspots — funding categories you didn’t realise you could access? We translate the NDIS language into plain English so you can see exactly what you’re entitled to and what your options are. By the end, you’ll have a clear picture of your plan and concrete next steps, whether that’s connecting with a provider, adjusting how you’re spending, or planning for your next formal plan review with the NDIA.

Most people come to a plan review because something isn’t working; maybe your support has changed and your plan no longer fits. Maybe you’ve just got your first plan and it feels overwhelming. Maybe you’re autistic and you need support explained in a direct, literal way without corporate jargon. Maybe you’re a parent or carer and you want to make sure the plan actually covers what your family member needs — and that you’re not missing anything. The NDIS official site has plan information, but navigating it alone is time-consuming, and it doesn’t tell you how your specific plan stacks up against your real life.

We approach plan reviews the way we approach all our support: with respect for your knowledge of your own situation and without any pressure to spend money you don’t need to spend. We’re registered with the NDIS and compliant with the Code of Conduct, which means we’re transparent about how we work and what we can and can’t do. Our team is multilingual — English, Spanish, Arabic, and Auslan — so if you need support in your language, that’s available. We listen first. We explain second. We make recommendations only when they’re grounded in what you’ve told us you actually need.

When you book a plan review with us, here’s what happens. You’ll have a conversation with one of our support coordinators — either over the phone, online, or in person, whatever suits you. Bring your plan documents if you have them; if not, we can work through it together. The review usually takes 60 to 90 minutes. We’ll go through your funding, answer your questions, and give you a summary of what we’ve found — in writing, in plain language. If you decide you want ongoing support coordination, that’s an option we can talk about. If you just needed clarity on this one review, that’s fine too. There’s no pressure. No lock-in. No assumption that you’ll use Guia for anything else.

When you’re ready to get started, reach out and let us know. Tell us a bit about your situation — what brought you to this page, what’s confusing about your plan, what you’re hoping to understand better. We’ll match you with a coordinator who’s a good fit for you and your family, and we’ll book a time that works. If you’d like to explore support coordination beyond a one-off review, we can talk about that too. Either way, you’ll walk away knowing exactly where you stand with your NDIS plan and what your real options are.
